Love it! |

this cd player is great - at last something that plays cds/cdrs and mp3s and that can run off rechargable batteries. the sound quality is very good, the player is comfortable to use and nice and sturdy. its a bargain for the price.

Very good - but only for MP3s |
This is a bargain price for this unit. I bought one last summer and still believe it to be worth the money. The supplied headphones are reasonable, and the battery life is excellent. You are even supplied with a power adaptor and rechargable batteries. MP3s are found quickly and are crisp and clear on playback. It has read a mixture of encode rates including VBR with no problems. Now the negatives: Normal CD playback is awful! Normal CDs sound muffled and often distort for no apparent reason. Forget about the shuffle feature with MP3s too. Its a nice idea to let it rip around the ten or so albums and play a mixture, but unfortunatley it locks up if it has to jump from say the 1st folder to the last (or anywhere past 5th or 6th). If you want a no frills, good sounding MP3 player you could do a lot worse, but this one does have a few quirks...

Does not do what it says on the tin |
This player was bought specifically for its ability to play WMA files as well as MP3. I was very disappointed to discover it only plays audio and MP3 files. Will be replacing it with a Panasonic player, which I know for a fact plays WMA files. From what I can see the player does look and feel of reasonable quality. It comes with ear phones, remote control, rechargeable batteries, charger/AC adapter and a CD containing the manual and Music Match software. A reasonable buy if you dont require WMA file support.
